Mark Allen - Director

Mark's commercial training and background has been entirely in sales and marketing, with long experience in the IT industry. He moved into the developing telecoms industry in the mid-1980s, working for Cable & Wireless, rising through the ranks in the UK, USA and then finally Australia, where he was part of the team which set up Optus, the second national carrier in that country. Mark managed the national sales force which consisted of 18 sales managers and 220 sales staff. After a period consulting to the main carriers, he set up a website company in 1996 and was made a Fellow of the Institute of Sales and Marketing Management the following year. Mark brings a wealth of sales and marketing experience to the organisation, in particular internet, database management and sales management skills.

Both directors have an exceptional level of skill in identifying, linking and managing the key tasks that will achieve clients' sales and marketing objectives with maximum focus and effect, and minimum costly divergence.

The Silver Street Team

Silver Street operates with a team of nine key people, all of whom are experts in their own sales and marketing disciplines. Silver Street skills comprise: copy writing, graphic design, print, direct mail and response analysis, database management, telephone marketing, internet site design and management, e-mail marketing, promotions, sales, sales management, logistics, event and sponsorship management and administration. These are in addition to the crucially important face to face and personal interaction with clients and intermediaries that can really make a difference to lifting funds under management.
